MOON OF DUST, WITH REMAINS TO COME
STAINED AND FOREVER LIT SKY
WE’RE ALREADY ALL GONE
MAREDISE IS A PLURIDISCIPLINARY SCIENCE-FICTION BASED ANTHOLOGY.
PRIMARILY USING ILLUSTRATION COUPLED WITH TEXT AS A MEDIUM, AS WELL AS 3D, SPACIAL IMMERSION AND ANIMATION,
THE PROJECT AIMS TO NARRATE THROUGH SMALL PEEKS THE LIVES OF A VARIETY OF CHARACTERS ACROSS A DUSTED MOON.
THE SKY IS ALWAYS LIT, BUT THE MARBLE TILES BELLOW ONES FEET ARE STILL MORE LIKELY TO BLIND YOU.
AND THE REDS… THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. FOREVER SERVING AS A REMINDER, THAT THE END IS COMING. THAT THE END DID IN FACT COME.
THOSE ARE ONLY REMAINS, REMAINS OF THE GUILTY ONES WHO AT SOME POINT WALKED THIS MOON.
THEIR MEMORIES CAUGHT IN THE GUSTS OF WIND, MERGING WITH THE CLOUDS OF DUST.
The far out
Peaceful, it was peaceful to just look up
Peaceful, it was peaceful to just look up
The blues were so plain, so void of anything
Like curtains revealing gusts of dust, of smoke, of ashes
Only traces of memories, being exiled from where they belong
I wanted to go too, far out - before being struck by the forever ever after
And it is now after, I am headed to the far out.
Company
Look at me, do you see hostility or sympathy ?
Look at me, all of my four eyes
Do you see the mistakes, do you see the sins
Do you see hostility or sympathy ?
Because I cannot
Bright marble you took it away from me, sight - sigh
My present has been taken, and my future sealed
All that I have left, is the past that defines me
Accompany me, because I cannot
Stranded Together
Acceptance has made our right now, our forever
Tranquility, peace after acceptance
White isn’t threatening anymore, and red is forgotten
Acceptance has made our right now, our forever
Until the sky turns red, and the ground turns void
Oh rainy red day, we wait for you in this place, our forever
With hope still missing, but despair gone
Had this forever lasted a blink longer, maybe I could have felt your cold
Vibrant Black
