Disaster Donkies started as simple sketchbook characters, a simple character born from needing a creative playground.
It was a way for me to express myself as someone that got into the habit of overworking and overthinking throughout my creative process, making it exhausting.
This creative playground aspect allowed Disaster Donkies to develop across a variety of medium and thematic, as it now exists illustrated, animated, narrated, as stickers, and sculpted.

As of right now, the works aim to build an affinity with design and fashion on one hand through the costume series.
On the other hand, using the character’s simple design and neutral expression,
it also tries to build a deeper connection with the spectator across the different illustrations and what they hint as part of their narration.
In the end, it really is all about anything - and hopefully, is about anyone too.
